Job summary

Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, KS is seeking a CNA to provide hands-on patient care under licensed nurses in the Rehab Hospital. Day shift, full-time; you will assist with transfers, positioning, and maintaining clean patient rooms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or CNA Certification is required.
• Current BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with basic patient care under licensed nursing staff
• Support safe patient movement, transfers, and positioning
• Observe and report changes in patients’ physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly cared for and ready for use
