Job summary

American Advanced Management, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care in Murray, UT on a per diem basis. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and deliver treatment within the scope of practice while collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehab team.

You will also teach and train caregiver staff, contribute to clinical program development, and supervise other licensed therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the applicable State Licensing Board.
• Long term acute care experience is preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Perform patient assessment and care planning.
• Deliver direct treatment and consult with the rehab team.
• Participate in the clinical interdisciplinary team process.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.
• Supervise other licensed therapists, assistants, technicians, aides and students as required.
