Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Southeast Ohio in Newark, OH is hiring a Nursing Assistant for a full-time day shift (12-hour). Compensation ranges from $18.05 to $22.00 per hour with a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

You will obtain vital signs and demographic data, assist with personal care, deliver meals, and help with mobility and transport. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and BLS within 90 days; preferred CNA certification and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Deliver meals and snacks, and document oral intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients and assist with mobility.
• Transport patients to designated areas and treatment centers.
