Job summary
HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, Texas is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join a dynamic rehabilitation team. You will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness or injury, participating in care planning and family education.
Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, assisting with ADLs and mobility, and coordinating with nurses, therapists and physicians to deliver
Qualifications
- Must have or obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor responses and report changes promptly.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living to support therapy goals and independence.
- Monitor vital signs and neurological status; respond quickly to changes.
- Document progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination.
- Educate patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver high-quality care.
