Summary:

Oversee therapy staff, manage the facility’s rehabilitation program, including therapy intensity, caseload, coding, documentation, and clinical communication. Lead therapy programs, training, and in-services for staff.

Qualifications:

Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily; excellent verbal and written communication skills; accommodations for disabilities as needed.

Education & Qualification Requirements:

Knowledge equivalent to discipline-specific training; demonstrated leadership, organization, and communication skills; ability to solve practical problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and administration of therapy services.
  • Ensure proper staffing, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant working environment.
  • Foster respectful, collaborative relationships with staff, patients, and partners.
  • Participate in meetings and in-services.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Verify insurance and obtain prior approvals.
  • Ensure completion of evaluation, treatment, and discharge orders.
  • Oversee therapy plans of care and scheduling.
  • Monitor documentation, productivity, and compliance.
  • Conduct staff training and documentation audits.
  • Utilize resources safely and efficiently.
  • Observe infection control standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise therapy department staff, participate in hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline, in accordance with policies and laws.
