Job summary

Key Rehab is hiring a Full Time Program Coordinator-P TA to join our team in Humboldt, in a SNF setting, coordinating therapy services and serving as liaison to community staff.

The role emphasizes scheduling, staffing, and reducing administrative burden while ensuring compliance with state and federal standards. A PTA or OTA program completion and licensure are required, with CPR and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must possess a PTA or OTA license to practice in the state(s) assigned.
• Completion of an accredited PTA/OTA program is required.
• CPR certification as required by the community.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by state law.
• Other items as required by federal, state and local standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Key Rehab and community staff while providing therapy under PTA/OTA scope.
• Coordinate staffing and daily scheduling to meet KPIs under a Regional Supervisor.
• Support clinicians to deliver therapy services and reduce administrative burden.

Job description

Key Rehab is looking for a Full Time, Program Coordinator-P TA to join our team in providing excellent care in the Humboldt a rea in a SNF setting.

Education

• Required: Completion of an accredited PTA or OTA program

Experience

• Preferred: Prior experience in long term care setting and service coordination

Licenses/Certificates

• Required: Current PTA or OTA license to practice in the state(s) assigned
• Required: CPR, as required by community
• Required: Valid driver license and car insurance as required by state law.
• Required: Other items as required by federal, state and local standards

Responsibilities

In addition to providing therapy under their disciplinary scope of practice (OTA or PTA), the Program Coordinator serves as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff. This position is instrumental in minimizing administrative burden and providing support to allow clinicians’ to deliver therapy services. This position also coordinates staffing and daily scheduling to meet key performance indicators and expectations under the direction of a Regional Supervisor.

• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
• Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
