Job summary

Mission Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Rehabilitation Department on a per diem night shift. You will assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under RN supervision.

Requirements include a current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, CPR/BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and a preference for at least six months in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The CNA in the Rehabilitation Department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
