Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems Rehabilitation Department seeks a Rehabilitation Technician to support therapists in providing patient care and education. You will monitor patient responses to activities and perform essential administrative duties to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, with a preferred bachelor’s in Exercise Science or Health Sciences. Prior hospital or clinic exposure and PC skills are advantageous for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating volunteers or staff is a plus.
• Previous experience in hospital/clinic settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of licensed therapists.
• Monitor patient responses and report back to supervising therapists.
• Perform administrative duties to support therapy operations.
