We are in search of a Full-Time Rehab Aide/ Tech Transporter for our facility.

As a Rehab Aide, you are to:

• Perform all floor ambulation for all residents as prescribed by rehab department/MD
• Perform AAROM/PROM for all residents as indicated
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces and equipment being used as part of functional maintenance program
• Transfer residents in/out of the wheelchair as part of functional maintenance program
• Ensure splints/braces are applied/removed by nursing staff as per MD order and in accordance with wearing schedule
• Report any inconsistencies, functional changes, skin integrity issues (if noted) of a resident to the nursing manager and/or rehab director as needed.
• Document all FAP distance, level of assistance (in nursing terms) daily in EMR
• Perform group wellness exercises with residents on the units (if applicable) as directed by Rehab therapy staff.
• Other duties as assigned by Rehab director
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school/GED diploma
• HHA/CNA certificate preferred but not required
