The Rehabilitation Aide, under the supervision of therapists, assists in patient care activities and performs routine clerical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for service delivery.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living using proper body mechanics.
• Clean and disinfect equipment per policy.
• Manage supplies and equipment, including inventory tracking and ordering.
• Monitor patients' exercise programs and assist with ambulation under supervision.
• Distribute linens and supplies, handle laundry, and clean equipment between uses.
• Transport patients to treatment areas efficiently.
• Report unsafe conditions and handle emergencies appropriately.
• Support therapists and ensure department efficiency during high patient volume.
• Provide clerical support such as answering phones, greeting patients, and scheduling.
• Build rapport with patients and team members to foster a positive environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to organizational standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire.
