Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Rehab Services Assistant to support licensed clinicians in patient care and rehabilitation activities. The role includes equipment handling, patient transport, and daily charting to ensure efficient service delivery.

You will assist with inventory, charge reconciliation, and data reporting, working within a team dedicated to quality patient care and safety. A high school diploma and BLS are required, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Clean and manage rehabilitation equipment.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed clinicians in patient treatment following established routines.
  • Clean and manage rehabilitation equipment.
  • Manage patient charge reconciliation on a daily basis, including entry and corrections.
  • Transport patients as assigned with attention to safety.
  • Manage supplies and inventory for rehabilitation services including ordering materials.
  • Maintain statistics on volumes, revenue, and expenses for rehabilitation services monthly.
  • Calculate and report daily productivity to Director and Team Leaders.
  • Perform additional tasks supportive to Rehabilitation Services as needed.
