Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (NRHN) is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists and the care team. You will assist the OT/PT in patient treatment and handle clerical and housekeeping tasks to help run the department efficiently.

• Ability to relate well to others and work with patients of all ages.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred at selected sites.

The Rehab Aide is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.

The Rehab Aide is responsible for assisting the OT/PT in patient treatment as directed by the therapist to assist in overall departmental operations by performing clerical and housekeeping as assigned by the supervisor. At no time will the Rehab Aide’s assistance of the OT/PT in treatment be counted as billable skilled therapy. The aide will demonstrate dependability in all areas and will perform duties as assigned by the OT/COTA and/or PT/PTA. Rehab Aide will also be responsible for assisting the licensed therapist supervising patients in group settings.
