Regulatory & Sustainability Manager

Charlotte, NC

Our client is a global manufacturer in the chemicals space for floor care products that is searching for a Regulatory & Sustainability Manager. This Manager is going to be a member of a global team and is responsible for ensuring product compliance against global standards and driving sustainability initiatives. This role is based in the greater Charlotte area and is 100% on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product compliance with regulations like TSCA, FIFRA, REACH, VOC, and EPA
• Lead sustainability initiatives and maintain associated documentation
• Collaborate with the Global Sustainability Team
• Ensure compliance with certifications like GREENGUARD, Green Seal, and EPA Safer Choice
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation
• Monitor regulatory trends and advise on impacts and strategies
• Create and manage Safety Data Sheets

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in a science discipline or equivalent experience
• 4+ years in regulatory affairs and product compliance, preferably with global exposure
• Knowledge of the chemical industry and environmental regulations
• 2+ years managing sustainability initiatives
• Familiarity with European Sustainability regulations and reporting standards
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent working skills
