Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Strategy and Innovation Manager to lead regulatory compliance strategies for food and packaging across our portfolio in North America. The role will coordinate with R&D, Quality, Marketing and Supply Chain to embed regulatory requirements into development and commercialization.

Hybr id work with three days onsite weekly in Chicago, IL. The candidate should have 5–8 years in food regulatory roles, strong leadership, and effective communication to guide regulatory strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, chemistry, biology, toxicology, engineering, or related field
• 5–8 years of food regulatory experience with at least 3 years in leadership
• Deep understanding of federal and state regulations affecting food labeling and packaging
• Experience with regulatory submissions, agency interactions, and commercialization processes
• Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance strategies for food and packaging across product categories and markets
• Monitor horizon scanning and interpret evolving regulations from FDA, USDA, CFIA and state bodies
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Marketing and Supply Chain to integrate regulatory requirements into development
• Oversee regulatory submissions, notifications, and reporting with agencies
• Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on regulatory requirements
