Alabama Power Company is seeking a Regulatory Strategy and Analytics Analyst to support regulatory affairs through advanced data analytics, visualization, and AI-driven research. The role collaborates with finance, planning, operations, and customer service to transform complex information into actionable insights.
Responsibilities include developing regulatory strategies, maintaining performance metrics, and supporting rate filings and compliance efforts with the APSC and other stakeholders.
This position will be located at APC Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL
The position supports the development, analysis, and execution of regulatory strategies that support Alabama Power Company’s Regulatory Affairs performing strategic research, regulatory analytics, performance metrics. The position will apply data analysis techniques, visualization tools, generative AI, and analytical technologies to identify trends, automate research activities, improve workflow efficiency, and develop insights that support regulatory strategy. The position works closely with regulatory affairs, finance, operations, planning, marketing and customer service, economic development, power delivery and other business organizations to transform complex information into accurate, actionable, and defensible business insights.
