The incumbent will perform varied and complex professional and regulatory activities related to the Boards of Osteopathic Medicine, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and the Council of Licensed Midwifery, with primary focus on Massage Therapy and Midwifery.
The incumbent will be required to exercise independent judgment and initiative in carrying out assignments to completion. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of Florida Statutes and Rules governing licensing and regulation. Work is performed under the supervision of the Program Operations Administrator and is reviewed for accuracy and completion by periodic review of work product and day-to-day observation of work habits.
The incumbent independently evaluates applicant qualifications for licensure in accordance with statutory and rule requirements and obtains supplemental information as required to determine eligibility for licensure, certification, or registration.
The incumbent independently reviews reports related to application processing and audits applications which appear on those reports to determine what actions must be taken, in accordance with statutory and rule requirements. The incumbent will:
