Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Consultant for Technical and Scientific Regulatory Affairs to lead North America compliance across ingredients, labeling, and marketing content. You will collaborate with Global SRA, Legal, Quality, and Formula Governance teams to balance risk management with innovation.

You will review formulations, provide regulatory assessments, and help implement digital tools that drive efficient, compliant product launches across a dynamic beverage portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, or related field required.
• Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Scientific & Regulatory Affairs roles or technical compliance in food & beverage/CPG.
• Familiarity with North American regulatory landscape including FDA and Health Canada labeling requirements.
• Experience reviewing product formulations, labeling, packaging artwork, and digital communications for accuracy and compliance.
• Strong understanding of claims governance and substantiation processes in consumer-facing products.
• Experience with digital regulatory tools and enterprise systems supporting formula governance and SRA workflows.
• Data literacy for compliance risk assessments and decision-making support.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in data and compliance documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex science/regulations for stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.
• Embodiment of Coca-Cola leadership behaviors and growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRA workstreams for North America on ingredient, product, label, and claims compliance in innovation projects.
• Review and approve formulas, ingredient lists, packaging artwork, labels, and digital content for regulatory compliance.
• Support cross-functional partners with regulatory assessments balancing risk management with innovation.
• Participate in risk assessments to mitigate potential compliance barriers early in development cycles.
• Conduct competitive assessments of claims and identify whitespace opportunities.
• Help implement and maintain SRA digital tools, systems, and frameworks for efficiency and consistency.
• Provide regulatory guidance on nutrition, ingredients, and product information across Coca‑Cola portfolio.
