Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a qualified professional to contribute to the production, oversight, and continuous improvement of FR 2052a regulatory liquidity reporting.

You will validate data, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with Technology and Treasury to strengthen controls and reporting accuracy. The role involves leading automation initiatives, governance of data lineage, and cross-functional partnership to ensure timely, compliant reporting and remediation of issues.

Qualifications

Job Description

Contribute to the production, oversight, and continuous improvement of the Bank’s FR 2052a regulatory liquidity reporting. Perform data validation, reconciliations, variance analysis, and data quality investigations to support accurate and compliant regulatory reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance reporting processes and develop sustainable controls, reconciliations, tools, and documentation that improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the timely and accurate production of FR 2052a regulatory reporting, including daily and monthly reporting cycles, reconciliations, and key controls to meet regulatory expectations and evolving Category II readiness requirements.
  • Investigate regulatory reporting data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and partner with Technology and Treasury stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution and sustainable remediation of reporting defects.
  • Participate in regulatory reporting improvement initiatives, including projects focused on FR 2052a process improvements, reporting automation, and Category II regulatory readiness.
  • Lead assigned workstreams related to automation, process transformation, and operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain and enhance regulatory reporting governance artifacts, including data lineage, mapping documentation, and control frameworks supporting FR 2052a reporting.
  • Support audit, regulatory examination, and issue remediation activities by analyzing findings, developing corrective actions, coordinating testing efforts, and related governance prior to production deployment.
  • Partner closely with Liquidity Risk Management, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure accurate interpretation, sourcing, and reporting of FR2052a data and regulatory reporting metrics.
  • Assist in validating regulatory reporting enhancements through end-to-end testing, reconciliations, and production readiness activities to ensure successful implementation and reporting integrity.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory guidance and industry practices, assess potential impacts to reporting processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement required enhancements and control improvements.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Familiarity with FR 2052A liquidity reporting
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
  • Well-developed analytical and querying skills using SQL
  • Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools
  • Master's degree preferred

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

Pay Range: $86,360.00 - $101,600.00
