Job summary

Nutrien in Kansas seeks an experienced regulatory registrations specialist to manage agricultural fertilizer and nutrition product registrations with U.S. state agencies under limited supervision.

You will initiate state registrations, review labels, monitor regulatory changes, and coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Legal, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing to align activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of experience in fertilizer/soil amendment registrations in US agriculture.
• Strong understanding of state fertilizer regulations and AAPFCO requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate state registration tasks for designated product portfolios, ensuring compliance with state requirements.
• Participate in label reviews to ensure correct label versions are registered with states.
• Monitor state-specific regulatory changes, assess impacts to Nutrien products, and implement changes to maintain compliance.
• Maintain positive relationships with state regulatory authorities as primary contact for state registration matters.
• Manage state registration databases, renewal dates, submission deadlines, and state electronic submissions.
• Oversee renewal processes and prepare/submit new registrations as needed.
• Evaluate regulatory changes and update registration documents and labeling accordingly.
• Maintain accurate product information and registration statuses in Telus.
• Respond to inquiries regarding registrations, label updates, or regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Legal, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing.
• Participate in industry associations and share insights internally.
• Contribute to SOPs, templates, and guidance documents; support training and knowledge sharing.
