Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking an Expert Regulatory Analyst on a location-flexible basis in Oakland, CA. The role leads NOV management, regulatory response coordination, and compliance risk mitigation across Legal, Regulatory Relations, Compliance, Engineering, and Operations.

The incumbent will present to senior leaders, drive governance and action on findings, and oversee end-to-end NOV lifecycle with a focus on defensible, timely regulatory positions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6 years of related working experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as NOV process owner for NOV management and governance.
• Identify and summarize compliance risks, forecast potential NOVs, and develop corrective actions.
• Lead investigations and manage responses to NOVs and related citations and penalties.
• Coordinate cross-functional SMEs to align response positions and commitments.
• Perform complex data extraction and analysis to support regulatory decisions and executive reporting.
