Our team comprises multiple profiles, with expertise spanning agronomic experimentation, regulatory advice, and registration coordination.

Staphyt’s Regulatory Affairs Division supports clients in bringing plant protection, plant nutrition, biocide, and REACH chemical products to market. We assist clients in understanding and meeting regulatory requirements for chemical or biological active substances and products.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated German-speaking individual based in Germany, with experience in EU & UK Plant Protection Regulatory Affairs (chemical & biological), to join our multinational PPP regulatory management team.

This role primarily aims to:

* Deliver high-quality, cost-effective regulatory services to clients by providing consultancy and managing projects efficiently. A thorough understanding of regulatory processes for active substances and plant protection products in the EU and UK is highly valued.

You will collaborate closely with other Plant Protection Regulatory Managers, the Business Development team, scientific experts, and local national teams. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for a unified approach across all areas of expertise.

Main duties include:

  • Preparing and submitting plant protection dossiers according to national or EU requirements.
  • Providing strategic advice to clients and liaising with Regulatory Authorities on their behalf.
  • Managing major regulatory projects related to active substances and products, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive documentation for clients.
  • Estimating resource needs for project delivery and coordinating the provision of quotes.
  • Handling various other tasks related to the registration of plant protection products in Europe and the UK.

Your profile:

Essential:

  • A relevant scientific degree.
  • German language proficiency.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in EU & UK regulatory affairs for PPP, especially in dossier preparation, is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements accurately and advise clients accordingly.
  • Strong knowledge of plant protection product regulations across multiple countries and the EU.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while effectively collaborating within a dispersed team.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a team-oriented mindset in an international environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English at a high level.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of IUCLID.
  • Familiarity with EFSA Portal (Notification of Studies).
  • Understanding of other regulatory frameworks (e.g., BPR, fertilizers, soil improvers, biostimulants) within and outside the EU.
  • Location: Europe - flexible, with potential for home working.

This position can be based in an office or remotely.
