Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Licensing Administrator to support licensing activities for multiple states and the Real Estate Team. You will coordinate with agencies, manage licensing processes, and develop timelines for store openings and compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in licensing/regulatory roles, and strong Excel/database skills. Expect a dynamic, detail-driven environment with opportunities for growth within Camping World.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on administrative and regulatory compliance experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in business licensing, paralegal support, corporate regulatory compliance, or real estate administration.
• Prior experience navigating state-level DMVs, dealer licensing regulations, local permits, or sales tax registrations.
• Proven ability to research complex state-by-state requirements and build actionable plans.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and database tools to manage renewals, bonds, and COIs with accuracy.
• Experience handling confidential materials and background checks.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects across many states.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with State/Federal/Local Agencies with confidential information.
• Manage internal processes for acquisitions and new construction licensing.
• Research requirements at state, federal, and local levels to develop timelines.
• Develop guidelines for compliance, regulations, and state laws.
• Apply for all initial store licensing including DMV, business licenses, and taxes.
• Support area controllers and management for store openings and transitions.
• Coordinate with risk management on bonds and COIs for signature and distribution.
• Coordinate with inventory on forms and regulations.
• Provide ongoing store support after licenses are issued, including renewals.
• Coordinate with construction on CUPs, COO, signage, and zoning.
• Support legal teams and paralegals; prepare reports for management.
• Assist with lease administration and distribute land violation notices.
• Maintain organizational documents on shared drives.
