Chem-Trend, a Freudenberg Group company, is seeking a Senior Regulatory Specialist in Howell, MI to own regulatory content and maintain SDSs and labeling in SAP EHS. You will help ensure safe, compliant operations and support global regulatory compliance across substances and raw materials.

The role requires 5+ years in chemical regulatory compliance, strong knowledge of hazmat and transportation rules, and the ability to work with Technology teams on new materials.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in product regulatory compliance and SDS authoring within the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of regional chemical control regulations, hazard communication, dangerous goods classification, transportation regulations, and chemical compatibility.

Responsabilidades

• Own regulatory content: Develop, maintain, and publish SDSs and label statements in SAP EHS.
• Enable safe and compliant operations: Ensure employees have access to regulatory information.
• Support global chemical compliance: Maintain compliance with chemical inventory and registration requirements.
• Navigate regulatory reporting: Support TSCA notifications and other obligations.
• Partner with Technology: Assess new raw materials and developmental chemistry for regulatory impact.
• Be a customer resource: Respond to regulatory requests with timely solutions.
• Stay ahead of change: Monitor evolving regulations and implement compliant solutions.
• Protect confidential information: Support CBI applications as needed.
• Improve how we work: Lead documentation and retention improvements.
• Build regulatory knowledge: Develop procedures and provide training on regulatory topics.
