Job Description

The Regulatory IT and Information Security Specialist will advise Natixis' U.S. operations ("CUSO") on IT, cybersecurity, and technology risk management issues. This role involves developing materials and participating in interactions with regulators, including examinations and ongoing monitoring meetings. The specialist will lead preparation for examinations and recommend enhancements to internal policies, procedures, and documentation.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting regulatory interactions for the first and second lines of defense on IT, cybersecurity, and technology risk management topics, including leading preparation for examinations by Federal and State regulators.
  2. Advising and assisting in the remediation of regulatory or audit findings from internal or external auditors and regulators.
  3. Coordinating responses to internal and external audits related to IT, cybersecurity, or information security as a Regulatory Affairs representative.
  4. Supporting remediation and implementation projects in conjunction with Regulatory Affairs, reviewing front-to-back processes to enhance compliance with best practices and regulatory guidance.
  5. Analyzing changes in the regulatory environment and their impact on business, controls, and risk frameworks, providing solutions for relevant adjustments.
  6. Advising on strategic or regulatory compliance projects to optimize IT and cybersecurity risk management practices.
  7. Providing guidance on IT and cybersecurity risk frameworks, policies, and interpretation of regulatory standards and guidance.
  8. Coordinating with Natixis' Head Office teams on policy development, implementation, and critical regulatory interactions.
  9. Reviewing and updating IT and Technology Risk Management documentation and procedures to ensure compliance.
  10. Supporting the Regulatory Affairs Department in developing materials, policies, and participating in examinations or monitoring activities across risk disciplines.

The salary range for this position is $225,000 - $280,000. Compensation will depend on experience, education, skills, certifications, and organizational needs. Benefits are also provided, and discretionary incentives may be available based on performance.
