Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas seeks a paid, full-time summer intern for the Consumer Affairs unit. You will shadow examination activities, assist with consumer complaint reviews, and participate in supervision processes to gain hands-on regulatory experience.

The program offers mentoring, cross-unit exposure, and access to senior leaders, with a 10–12 week timeline mid-May to August in Dallas. Enrollment in Finance, Economics, or related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student entering junior or senior year and pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Interest in consumer protection, banking regulation, or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Shadow examinations and reviews to gain exposure to the process.
• Assist with the review of consumer complaints regarding banks.
• Participate in portfolio examiner supervision activities and review corrective actions.
