Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas offers a paid, full‑time summer internship spanning majors and functional areas—including economic research, finance, Cash Services, IT, and beyond. The program runs about 10–12 weeks, from mid-to-late May to August, in the Dallas office, with dedicated mentors and cohort programming to launch your career.

You will assist economists in a Research group, gain exposure to central banking, and develop data analysis and communication skills in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Completed your junior year with coursework in economics, statistics, econometrics, mathematics and computer science; GPA 3.5+.
• Copy of current transcripts required to be considered.
• Basic knowledge of programming in STATA, R, Python or Matlab and proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with economic variables and econometric techniques for data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Assist economists in Research groups (macroeconomics, international, regional, energy, or banking and finance).
• Learn and summarize recent research and analysis; locate and compile data.
• Create files and produce charts/graphics; replicate prior research.
• Perform statistical and econometric analysis under economists' direction.
