Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a quantitative or analytical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, compliance, operations, audit, or finance.
• Experience in an analytical role, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong data analysis, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience performing data analysis using programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or Go) and database queries (e.g., SQL).
• Regulatory research and interpretation skills preferred.
• UNIX experience, or ability to learn the operating system.
• Experience using Atlassian systems (e.g., Confluence and JIRA) is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, CAT/OATS)

Responsibilities

• Review regulatory data to identify root causes and remediation needs.
• Use UNIX command tools to correct records.
• Develop surveillance for regulatory reporting and operational data.
• Automate the CAT business system.
• Follow up with software developers/management on errors.
• Gather facts to assist examinations and inquiries.
• Propose improvements to controls over regulatory reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and supervisory reviews as needed.
