Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Research Associate in Everett, WA to support regulatory developmental and reproductive toxicology (DART) studies in rats and rabbits. You will collect samples, perform procedures, and ensure GLP-compliant data collection in a fast-paced vivarium environment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strict adherence to SOPs, and ongoing skills development in animal research. Onsite work with a dynamic team in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a scientific discipline is preferred.
• ALAT certification is preferred.
• Experience in GLP auditing or familiarity with GLP auditing practices is beneficial.
• Vivarium or animal facility experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory DART study execution in rats and rabbits.
• Observe animals and report health/behavior changes.
• Perform procedures per protocols and GLP requirements.
• Collect biological samples (blood, urine) from lab animals.
• Assist with anesthesia, catheter placement, and other technical procedures.
