Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

Legal.io is working with a leading aerospace defense company who is seeking a Ethics and Compliance Specialist. This is a full-time position (40 hours / week) for 3 months, with potential to extend. This is a fully remote position.

Scope of Work

Title: Ethics & Compliance Specialist (Secondment)

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $80 - $110 / hr

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on ethics and compliance matters, particularly in relation to labor mischarging and government contracts.
  • Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • 50% of docket is labor mischarging. Absolute must is experience in labor mischarging with government contracts.
  • Involves more of a compliance investigations background
  • Familiar with code of conduct matters
  • Sometimes overlapping with employment, but very often different
  • Need someone who will hit the ground running and understands in particular how labor mischarging works in government contracts.
  • Additional work will involve pulling badging data, computer records data, HR systems, making credibility assessments, and interviewing employees
  • This person does need tohaveagood presenceand recognize that some of this work may result in terminations.
  • Preference for someone who has worked at aerospace or defense company in ethics and compliance function, but any government contracting work is relevant.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ethics and compliance, with a strong focus on labor mischarging and government contracts.
  • Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
