Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to oversee regulatory matters for Meal Kit and Factor products in the United States and Canada. The role requires reviewing labeling, ingredients, and nutrition information to ensure compliance with FDA/USDA requirements and internal standards.

You will collaborate with Product, Culinary, Procurement, FSQA, and Operations to resolve regulatory questions, support launches, and maintain audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in food regulatory affairs, labeling, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3 years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve regulatory and labeling information for HelloFresh Meal Kit and Factor products.
• Support Factor labeling updates, ensuring accurate ingredient statements, allergen declarations, Nutrition Facts, claims, and other required information.
• Review Meal Kit menus, recipes, ingredients, and substitutions for regulatory compliance, including time-sensitive changes.
• Evaluate products against U.S. regulatory requirements and escalate risks when appropriate.
• Review ingredient specifications, supplier documents, and regulatory data for accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with Product, Culinary, Procurement, FSQA, Operations to resolve regulatory questions.
• Support new product launches by addressing regulatory requirements prior to implementation.
• Maintain regulatory documentation for compliance, traceability, and audits.
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders on labeling, allergens, claims, and ingredient declarations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, docs, workflows, and tools.
