Job summary

Spectrum Plastics Group is seeking a Compliance Engineer to support the Quality organization across Spectrum sites. You will lead in materials documentation for certifications such as UL, EU MDR, REACH SVHC, RoHS, WEEE, and Cal Prop 65, while aligning with Product Stewardship practices and regulatory processes.

The role involves maintaining regulatory statements, guiding project teams, and managing regulatory data to respond to customer inquiries.

Qualifications

Engineering degree required with 4 years of experience in Quality and/or Compliance Engineering in manufacturing.
Experience with quality systems regulations and standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR 820, AS9200, FSSC 22000).
Knowledge of material compliance regulations (EUMDR, REACH, CLP, RoHS, Cal Prop.65, SCIP, WEEE).
Certification agency experience (UL or similar) a plus.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a centralized material regulatory statements repository across Spectrum to support compliance and inquiries.
Develop guidance for obtaining regulatory certifications and meeting domestic & global regulations.
Maintain compliance statuses of Spectrum materials with current and new regulations.
Coordinate site responses for PS&R and manage regulatory-related customer inquiries.
