Job summary

Qualifications

• Six years of accounting or auditing experience or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree with coursework in accounting, auditing, business, finance, management, economics, quantitative methods, or information systems plus three years of accounting/auditing experience
• CPA, CFE, CIA, CISA, or CGAP designation with one to three years of accounting/auditing experience depending on credential
• Supervisory and leadership experience directing professional staff
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance laws, rules, and accounting principles

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five auditors and perform advanced financial and compliance audits of regulated utilities and common carriers
• Evaluate audit findings and assist with rate case planning
• Develop audit programs for audits
• Interact with regulatory agencies and utility company representatives
• Supervise subordinate professionals under the Audit Manager

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

Six years of accounting or auditing experience OR equivalent
