Our client is hiring for a Regulatory and Compliance Manager to oversee all regulatory affairs and compliance functions within their innovative dietary supplement and functional food manufacturing company. This role ensures all products, processes, and labeling practices meet regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, FTC, GMP, FSMA), while supporting product innovation and import/export activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regulatory Compliance Oversight: Ensure all products comply with regulations such as FDA (21 CFR), FSMA, DSHEA, GMP, FTC, Health Canada, EFSA, and other global bodies.
  2. Labeling & Claims Review: Oversee review and approval of labels, marketing materials, and health claims for compliance.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Legal teams to integrate regulatory strategies.
  4. Regulatory Submissions & Documentation: Prepare and maintain submissions, technical files, and safety dossiers for domestic and international registration.
  5. Audit & Inspection Readiness: Lead audits and ensure facilities and documentation are inspection-ready.
  6. Monitoring & Risk Assessment: Stay updated on regulations and assess impacts on business operations.
  7. Training & Policy Development: Develop training programs and SOPs for compliance.
  8. Product Lifecycle Management: Support regulatory aspects of product launches, reformulations, and discontinuations.
  9. Supplier & Ingredient Compliance: Oversee supplier documentation and raw material compliance.
  10. Ethical & Transparent Practices: Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Profile Requirements:

  • 5+ years of regulatory/compliance experience in Pharmaceuticals, Dietary Supplements, or Food.
  • Experience with import/export regulation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field (Master's or RAC certification preferred).
  • Certifications in FDA regulations, GMP, HACCP, or international standards (ISO, NSF, FSSC) are desirable.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. and global regulatory frameworks (FDA, DSHEA, FSMA, FTC, EFSA, TGA).
