Job summary

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in regulatory affairs, compliance, or risk at a regulated financial services firm.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of EU and regional financial regulations.
  • Strong understanding of the European regulatory environment and regimes.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and drive resolutions.
  • Familiarity with payment systems and markets, tech focus.
  • Fluency in English and experience coaching teams.

About The Role

The Regulatory Affairs team builds transparent relationships with regulators to keep Revolut moving forward with confidence. They stay ahead of regulatory change, provide timely responses to enquiries, and work across the business to ensure compliance is always in step with innovation.

We’re looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to ensure that our communication with regulators is transparent, compliant, and efficient. You’ll be focusing on different regulatory fields and coordinating regulatory engagements across branches in Europe.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Communicating with regulators and the business, including breaking down complex information into smaller, digestible chunks
  • Keeping our regulators up to date with new products, initiatives, and other ad hoc updates
  • Working with the wider Risk and Compliance team to share communications during an incident
  • Preparing management reports and information, in particular for regulator meetings, internal committees, and the Board
  • Delivering training and updates to product teams and the wider business on regulatory requirements and changes
  • Building processes and documentation for the team in a scalable and sustainable way
  • Being a champion for conduct and compliance across the business
What You'll Need
  • 7+ years of experience in a regulatory affairs, compliance, or risk function at a regulated financial services firm, fintech, financial consultancy, or regulatory authority
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, project management, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of best banking practices in EU and regional financial regulations
  • A solid understanding of the European regulatory environment and key compliance regimes
  • A proven ability to analyse complex information and identify the key issue to drive resolutions
  • Familiarity with payment systems and markets with a focus on technology and mobile applications
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience coaching and inspiring team members
Nice to have
  • A relevant master’s degree
  • Fluency in other languages
