Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate, Regulatory Affairs. Based in Denver or Portland, the role reports to the Director and supports regulatory activities for generation, transmission and storage projects.

The position follows a hybrid schedule: in office Mon-Thu and remote on Fridays, with engagement across regulators, ISOs/RTOs, and trade associations. The team collaborates with development, asset management, legal, transmission and interconnection groups to advocate

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a relevant field with 3+ years of regulatory or related experience.
• Travel required, approximately 20-25%.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs team across Western region, ERCOT and other regions.
• Engage with external consultants.
• Build relationships with and lobby external stakeholders as appropriate.
• Assist in development, advocacy and implementation of policy changes.
• Assist in data collection for market registration and participation.
