Job summary

AXA XL US Regulatory is seeking an Analyst to collaborate with actuaries and underwriters to secure regulator approvals for rates and to support annual data calls for workers’ compensation filings across multiple lines. The role includes providing statistical data and exhibits for submissions and addressing objections from Insurance Departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics or Actuarial Sciences or related area; recent graduates welcome.
• Hands-on actuarial experience preferred; Workers’ Compensation background is a plus.
• Actuarial examinations are a plus but not required.
• Strategic thinker who can translate data into pricing insights.
• Outstanding attention to detail to recognize data inconsistencies.
• Strong communicator who can work with varied teams and contribute ideas.
• Ability to collaborate in a small team and complete tasks timely and proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical support to all circulars and bulletins affecting AXA XL’s rates.
• Assist in data calls and nationwide rate filings for multiple lines including Workers' Compensation, General and Auto Liability, Inland Marine, Crime.
• Provide data and exhibits needed to submit filings to Insurance Departments and respond to objections.
• Assist in analyzing and responding to current issues affecting US businesses.
