Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related technical field and hands-on chemistry experience.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant lab testing experience in a regulated industry (FDA/ISO 13485).
• Knowledge of standard quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on chemical raw material and product quality.
• Assist with developing test methodologies and procedures.
• Work with the Quality System on internal and external audits.
• Assist with developing and validating test methods.
• Support and/or develop chemical testing procedures.
• Coordinate failure investigations by designing and performing lab-scale simulations of products made in the plant.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate lab equipment.
• Assist with directing the work of lab employees.
