Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical and clinical research organization focused on advancing innovative healthcare solutions. The BA will identify business challenges, gather and translate requirements, and partner with technical teams to deliver user-centered solutions in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in regulated industries (pharma/biotech/clinical research).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, requirements management, traceability, and project lifecycles.
• Experience supporting clinical development and familiarity with clinical trial processes across study phases.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, CS, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to uncover objectives, analyze challenges, and define functional requirements.
• Lead workshops and discovery sessions to align priorities and drive consensus.
• Translate business needs into user stories, processes, and documentation for development and testing.
• Act as liaison between business and technical teams to ensure correct implementation of requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement in BA practices, processes, and standards.
