Job summary

Jenison Public Schools is seeking Regular & Substitute Bus Drivers to ensure the safety and care of students. The role requires obtaining a CDL-B temporary license with the necessary endorsements. Training for the road test is provided and is paid. Applicants must pass various tests, including fingerprinting and alcohol/drug testing. Job description

Regular & Substitute Bus Drivers Needed

$23.17 per hour - School year employment.

Licensing and Qualifications

• Must pass the written CDL test, obtaining a CDL-B temporary license with the following endorsements:
  • P-Passenger Endorsement
  • S-School Bus Endorsement
  • Air Brake Test

JPS CDL trainers will prepare potential substitute drivers for the road test. This is a paid training.

• Must be fingerprinted and have a Criminal Background check.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass aMDOT physical exam.
• Must pass alcohol/drug testing.
• Favorable results from a Driver Record check required.
