Position Purpose:

• Patient Financial Specialist 2: Obtains demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information during appointment scheduling for patient tests and procedures. Performs pre-registration and registration activities, including real-time eligibility verification and financial clearance. Provides instructions to patients on test preparation, prints and mails itineraries if lead time allows, and validates the medical necessity (LMRP/LCD review) of Medicare and Non-Medicare cases to ensure clinical and financial clearance. Obtains and processes signed physician orders to ensure proper clinical documentation for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma; Associate's Degree preferred
