Job summary

Wythe County Community Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registrar on a PRN variable schedule with weekend rotations. The role offers an hourly range of $14.17–$17.19 and involves handling receptionist, registration, and related clerical duties for patient admissions.

The team focuses on delivering excellent patient experiences within the Revenue Cycle process, offering opportunities to grow administrative skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; substitutions year-for-year with related experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to accept on-call assignments as needed.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with direct and scheduled patient admissions. Identifies and refers patients who might have financial difficulty.

What we're looking for

- Applicants should have High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted year for year with directly related experience)
