Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking a Patient Registration Clerk to welcome and register patients across inpatient, outpatient, ER, pre-admission and clinic settings. You will verify information, answer questions about admission policies, and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

Interviews incoming patients or their representatives for all of registration; inpatients, outpatients, emergency room, pre-admission, and clinic patients. Is responsible for obtaining information that is accurate and complete. Must maintain a positive public image to patients, hospital or medical staff. Prepares registration forms and obtains signatures as required. Answers patients' questions on admission policies. Is responsible for maintaining confidentiality of the patient registration information.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred
• Skills: Excellent communication skills both orally and written. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
