Employment Details:
  • Type: Employee, Per Diem, Part-time
  • Shift: 1st Shift
  • Hours: Minimum of 4 shifts per month, including weekends and holidays
Job Summary:

Gathers and enters patient demographic information, verifies benefits, obtains authorizations, and collects co-pays and deposits. Performs accurate registrations and ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines. Acts as the first contact, providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and verify patient insurance and identification documents.
  • Secure signatures for consent and regulatory documentation.
  • Collect and process payments and resolve billing issues.
  • Provide referrals and financial assistance options.
  • Support office functions such as scheduling and filing.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a professional setting; medical office experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and positive demeanor.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask.
  • Basic typing and computer skills.
Education and Certification:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Epic system experience highly preferred.
