ED Registrar Position Summary

The ED Registrar obtains demographic and financial information from patients seeking treatment in the Emergency Department. They understand and adhere to all EMTALA and Medical Center policies and procedures, ensuring the information obtained supports billable and collectible accounts. They interact professionally and customer-focused with patients, families, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Speed and accuracy with calculator and keyboarding required.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience in healthcare billing, collection, or registration preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Requires four months of on-the-job training.

Benefits

Salary Range

$17.70 - $26.55, commensurate with experience.
