Duties and Responsibilities:
The Enrollment Registrar's duties are divided into three Areas of Responsibility (AOR): Enrollment Management, People Services Compliance, and General Compliance. Other responsibilities may be assigned. These duties are not exhaustive but represent the AORs for which the Registrar is accountable.
As the Registrar plays a critical role in the efficient operation of administrative duties, it is essential that this individual participate in and drive continuous improvement in personal development and processes, including attending training at the Service Center, regionally, and online.
The Registrar will support a professional, customer service-oriented office environment that is supportive to visitors, parents, and students. Responsibilities include answering phones, directing inquiries, and providing enrollment information to interested parents.
Maintain student records in accordance with state law, including files, withdrawals, record requests, and re-enrollment information.
Ensure the timely, complete, and accurate processing of New Student Enrollment, including application entry, follow-up, correspondence, and communication.
Manage lottery preparation and execution, documentation, and maintain required records in the Student Information System to ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
Manage attendance records, parent/household information, emergency contacts, and collection of required forms.
Oversee all First Day / Count Day processes and requirements.
Coordinate with People Services by forwarding pertinent personnel documents and maintaining communication. Maintain an active list of substitute teachers and manage related tasks.
