Qualifications

• Registered RVT in good standing.
• New graduates from an accredited vet tech program welcomed.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledge of common disease states and alerting veterinarians to changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide status updates for hospitalized patients and home care instructions.
• Educate clients on preventative care, vaccines, and lab procedures.
• Greet clients and assist with front desk transitions; promote services.
• Restrain animals safely and assist veterinarians in procedures; monitor anesthesia.
• Maintain surgical materials and hospital equipment; keep areas clean and stocked.
• Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation.
• Assist with dispensing medications and labeling prescriptions.
• Follow safety guidelines and perform injections, lab tests, radiographs, and ECGs.
