Founders Green Animal Hospital in Denver, CO seeks a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to provide skilled patient care, assist veterinarians, and support clients with empathy. You will handle anesthesia, radiographs, lab work, and medication administration while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a collaborative team that values ongoing learning and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Open to new graduates from an accredited vet tech program.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide status updates for hospitalized patients and post‑operative care instructions.
• Educate clients on preventative care, vaccines, and lab procedures.
• Greet clients, escort pets, and support front desk transitions.
• Restrain animals safely and assist veterinarians in medical, dental, and surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and manage recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records for proper billing.
• Assist with dispensing medications and labeling prescriptions.
• Follow safety guidelines and perform routine lab tests, radiographs, and ECGs.
