Lee’s Summit Animal Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who is ready for a new opportunity or a place to call home. Whether you’re working with a family dog, a curious monkey, or even a scaly reptile, you’ll find that every day brings something new at our hospital. For nearly 60 years, we’ve built a reputation for “seeing it all,” and we’re excited to welcome someone who shares our passion for providing exceptional care to animals of all kinds.

Why Join Us?

As a valued technician on our team, you’ll:

· Use your skills and knowledge in diverse ways, from assisting in client relations to supporting medical treatments, surgical procedures, and diagnostics.

· Administer safe anesthesia and assist in a wide range of surgeries, including spays, neuters, orthopedic procedures, mass removals, foreign body extractions, cystotomies, splenectomies, and more.

· Perform dental x-rays, scale, and polish teeth to ensure optimal dental health.

· Work in a practice that values technicians as integral to every aspect of care and operation.

· Join a team with a strong reputation for handling a wide variety of cases and species.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re eager to find someone who:

· Brings experience in veterinary medicine and can jump in to help during our busy, exciting days.

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a high standard of care.

· Enjoys collaboration and teamwork, contributing to both client and patient success.

· Values ongoing learning and growth to continuously improve skills.

What We Offer:

· Competitive hourly pay based on experience (DOE).

· A rotating schedule of Saturday shifts and weekend treatments as needed for hospitalized pets.

· A management team dedicated to supporting your work-life balance, with open communication and an emphasis on fostering a positive culture.

· A workplace where your contributions are recognized, and your skills are appreciated.

Benefits Include (but are not limited to):

· Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, and vision).

· Short and long-term disability coverage

· Employee pet discounts

· Continuing education opportunities

At Lee’s Summit Animal Hospital, we value not only the work you do but also the person you are outside of work. We believe in creating an environment where communication is open, the culture is supportive, and fun is always part of the equation.

If you’re ready to bring your expertise, passion, and commitment to a team that truly values you, we’d love to hear from you!
