The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team in Dayton, Ohio. You will support veterinarians in surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, radiology and in-house lab work, and also handle room tech duties for wellness and sick visits while ensuring clear prescription explanations to clients.

• Ability to perform basic medical calculations for prescriptions and dosing.

Duties include:

• Assisting Veterinarians with surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, radiology and in-house laboratory testing.
• Room tech for wellness and sick visits
• Properly preparing and explaining prescriptions
• Inventory management and tracking
• Invoicing and scheduling

Ideal candidates have:

• A current Ohio Veterinary Technician license
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to do basic medical calculations for prescription dosing
• Excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to support clients, patients and teammates

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
