Qualified candidates will hold an RVT/LVT/CVT credential in good standing with 3+ years of experience, strong client communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have RVT/LVT/CVT credential in good standing.
• 3+ years veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Experience with IV catheter placement, intubation, and dental cleanings.
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and patient-care skills.
• Excellent communication and client-service skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for veterinary patients.
• Place and maintain IV catheters.
• Intubate and monitor patients under anesthesia.
• Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and surgery.
• Assist veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures.
• Collect and process laboratory samples.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Record patient histories, weights, and vital signs.
• Educate clients regarding medications and home care.
